USPSA - United States Practical Shooting Association
IDPA - International Defensive Pistol Association
ICORE - International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts

TOW - Track of the Wolf.

I see that one a lot. But I haven't figured this one out - think it has something to do with wads.

tow Is just tow. It’s like a course jute piece of string. Very fibrous. Kept in gun cases and used with a pull through for cleaning bores. Very olde worlde and smells bad too.

I feel like an idiot for asking, as it is apparent what it means in each ad, but why are the letters "vs" used in a for sale add on this forum instead of the obvious acronym for the two words "fs"?

VS = Vendor Sponsor, those are the sellers who signed up and pay in order to have less restrictions on their selling. They can ell over 10 sales/ad and have over 5 items open at once, because they are paying. (No_1 or Hatch may be able to state this more clearly, this is sorta the gist of it though)

SPF is not mentioned on list! I see that in S&S adds, I assume it means "ship pending funds" ?

"SPF" would be Sold Pending Funds.
