    lead question

I just pick up 200 lbs of lead ( linotype I think) it is supposed to be 3% tin, 11 % atinomy and 86% lead for $200 delivered. Is this a good price? How should I use it? Straight, mixed with WW or 50/50 with soft lead?

Very good price, in my opinion! I also have a source for $1 per lb lino. I'd kill to keep that source! Hahahaha!!!! What caliber are you loading for? I bought my lino for use in adding to pure to bring up the BHN. In fact, I'm going to be buying another 100 lbs in a couple weeks!

I load for 9mm,38 spec, 357 mag, 40 S&W, 45 acp and 44 mag. I wish I could buy more but I have been on spending binge lately so my money is starting to get thin.

I mix it 50/50 with pure for "hardball" alloy and shoot it in all of my handguns including the 500 S&W and 50 AK.

You can mix it 1 lino to 3 leads for a good light to medium load ammo.

BTW , the price was right
Sent from my PC with a keyboard and camera on it with internet too.
