    Lead that wasn't

Had a friend that said he had some lead that he would give. Well when I went to get it he had 5# of pure lead and a 50# plate of pure Zink know it is Zink I worked for the smelting co that made it in the middle 60's. I have no idea how he came by it as the security at that plant was tight , you walked through a metal detector before you left and the plant had 10" fence all the way around. They closed the plant in the 70's.
Now what to do with 50# of pure zink?

If you live anywhere near the coast you'd cast it into sacrificial anodes for boats.

If you were to be real hygenic with cleanup after use...you could make pure zinc simple grooved bouliets with it...just don't go shooting it into my berm...thank you very much...maybe you can trade it at a local scrapyard for the good stuff....

You can send it to me. I need Zinc. How to get it from you to me?

What are the dimensions of the plate? Will it fit in a Post office flat rate box? Can it be made to fit in a flat rate box?

Drop me a PM and we can discuss this.

I need about 100 lbs to cast round ball for the gun I am building.

Here is my RB mould nect to a Lyman 45 call mould.

Here's the parts to build my gun

And here's what it will look like when finished

............You sure that's for squirrels? Seems to me if you hit the squirrel you'd have to go hunt up the ball to get the squirrel as it'd be plastered to the front of the ball? Ah, I know! Spray the ball with PAM.

No hunting with this gun, couldn't find a scope mount, just use it for paper punching.

    Still want that Zinc!
