    How about using Vicks Vapor rub instead of vaseline? After all it is winter time and it would help keep your sinuses open if you have a cold.

    I'll fess up. sorta. I had a Repro BP revolver that I tried using it to seal my chambers as one would use "Spit Patch" or crisco. It looked like it would do just fine until the first shot. It's too thin for that application...

    I am sure with the right emulsifier it could be made to work for long term use, but then the question of WHY bother when other simpler things work comes into play.

    About -9 months- after I tryed the KY, I sudenly found nipple cream for nursing mothers laying arround and it worked well . However the diaper rash stuff lacked the needed film strength.
