    LEE .319 round ball mold

Does anyone have an actual newer .319 LEE round ball mold that can tell me if it is a single or double cavity? I looked im my catalog and it shows single cavity and the local fun store called his supplier and they said single but LEE's website says double. I have tried to call LEE over the last couple of days and can't get an answer.

Yep that is the one, I didn't want one if it was a single because a double would be slow enough. I seen on the LEE site today that under the replacement parts section the blocks are listed as "block now double cavity ball 319".

    Thanks for the replies.

It is 2 cav and makes fine buckshot. It is still slow with both cavs going though. Loaded 9 to a shell makes some fun blasting ammo.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

EMC that is the reason I decided to go with .319, I got some from another member a while back and three rows of three over 18 grains of Red Dot works great for me.

As you said fun blasting ammo.

I got on board on the buckshot band wagon a few years back and have the single cavity mold. I would welcome the day Lee would make a 6 cavity .319" mold.

A year or two ago allot of the Lee moulds like the .319 were only available in SC but they finally bumped most of them up to at least 2c which was great but I still have quite a few in SC. They do have that new buckshot mould in .330 that does I believe 18 at once. Maybe if it goes over good that will make some more sizes.
There are a company or two that make buck shot molds in multi cavity if that's what you are looking for. I believe doit moulds is one of them.

Don't waste your money on the doit mould. There was someone selling those things under his own name a while ago and I bought one. Poorest excuse for a mould I ever saw. My dad had a fishing sinker mould almost exactly like it. Nothing to even line up the mould halves.

My new .319 Lee two cavity mould works just fine if not fast. The Lee moulds I don't like are the eighteen cavity ones. Cutting the wire sprue off is not only very slow, it is impossible to do cleanly. Until someone comes up with a decent buckshot mould at a reasonable price I'll use the Lee .319 and the .360 RB's for my buckshot. Gp

Wow, I started this discussion just under eight years ago. Time flies when you're having fun.
I had gotten the LEE two cavity mold and had very good results with it.
