    NOE Small Buy: 314-129 Spitzer

MOULDS WENT IN THE MAIL TODAY (10/07/2011) USPS PRIORITY. THANKS!

    Howdy Folks,

This is a NOE re-run of the 314-129 Spitzer boolit that was run some time ago. It will be offered with the usual NOE PB and GC options, mix and match is fine in one mould, and at standard NOE pricing. No RG moulds will be available, but hollowpointing is an option at $35 per cavity.

This buy is currently scheduled to run in August 2011.

I will be the honcho of this buy and will accept mailed payments and payments via PayPal (+$4.50 per mould). Please post here what you want and I will update the list regularly. The buy will stay open until Swede Nelson tells me to make the last call before it goes to production.

    Here is the drawing:

Here is the finished product from Swede Nelson:

    NOE Pricing & Info:

Moulds will be machined from 2024 Aluminum
Used for high strength structural and aircraft applications.
Tensile strength range 30,000 to 63,000 psi
Sprue plate (blued), alignment pins, and hardware will be
    carbon steel.

The cost will be as follows:

    Standard Molds
    Single cavity mould $68.00 Ea.
    Double cavity mould $72.00 Ea.
    Three cavity mould $79.00 Ea.
    Four cavity mould $85.00 Ea.
    Five cavity mould $92.00 Ea.
Hollow pointing one cavity and furnishing a double ended pin would be $35.00 extra.
If you want to fashion different HP profiles, an extra blank pin would be $1.50

Shipping and handling will be $10 per order (1 or 2 moulds) and shipped priority mail. If you live outside the United States shipping will be $20 for 4 lbs. or less.

It looks like we have more than five.
I'll get it on the schedule.

    Question

This is really tough for me. I passed on the first go around because they're heavier than my 311 359 Lyman that are SO good in my older Carbine. But I'm now thinking maybe I should get in on this one.

When do we have to make our final commitment? I've got to think about this one.
    Regards,

    WE

Its not going to run until August by the current schedule, so by the end of June or so. You have some time.

I'm on the fence, but I'm posting so it'll be easier to find later if I decide to fall off.

Is there a little more room on that fence?

Wish there was an option for RG molds on this buy.
    Machinists do it with precision.

I am looking at this bullet and thinking I would give it a try in a TC Contender .30-30 or .30 Herrett. Any reason why this bullet will not work with these applications?

    Smile

These are only about 9 grains heavier than what my 311 359's weigh lubed and checked, so I think I need this one to back up the old Ideal.

I'll take one of these in the 4 Cavity, all GC design. Let me know when you need the $$.

Can I change my order please?
Instead of a 3 cavity mould,I would like a 4 cavity mould and all GC's please.
Sorry about that, but I had a good think about it.
    Cheers

Sorry for my absense for the last few weeks folks, been exceptionally busy at work and home.

I imagine it would make a good plinking load in .308.
