    Lead surprise

I hit my two tire shops yesterday and had quite the surprise. I hadnt been out looking since October so I figured my small place had already been picked clean. Nope, they had about 90lbs in WW's and were glad to get rid of them.

The other place, I had only been there once. The lady up front said someone had dropped by a couple of weeks ago and I figured there wouldnt be much. Went to their balancing machines and saw a full bucket...WOW, went to move it and it weighed about 40lbs, another WOW. Bucket was full of empty boxes. No problem, they are free, Ill take the garbage with them. Went to the second bucket and it was full also, figured it would be the same. WOW, the bucket was full and heavy.

Started sorting them to smelt today and this is what I found...another suprise...

    And here they go

    Finished up....120 ingots totalling 140lbs

    It was a good day.

They dont save any of it for me. Ive shown up at the smaller shop enough so they have stopped throwing them in the dumpster. The other place is a block off the beaten path. One of the guys that works there seemed pretty glad that I was picking them up...guess he is the one that has to get rid of them as I have seen 3 ladies working there.
