Looks like you have to assemble one. Wonder why Ruger doesn't offer something like this all ready to go?

    They are cool little rifles!
    Trigger and hammer work. Volquartsen.
    Barrel, Numerich 24"
    Boyd's Tacticool stock.
    Either iron sights, or scope.
I made one for my wife. She can stack a mag at 100yds! She loves it.
I use Federal 550 ammo for it.
Get the headspace done. I did mine for .042.
Never mind the fluting, or gimmicks on the barrel. I doubt you could get it hot enough if you fired steady all day!

    Maybe we see you there.
    Lots to see.

The best stock I have used on the 10/22s is the one it came with!
    The ergonimics are great.
With an heavy barrel, all you do is relieve the barrel channel then refinish.
    Another option.

I mean, I have seen your wood work!
That should be a snap for you.
The original is the best way to go. With bedding, pinning, and seating the reciever, you got the world by the crackers.
They make an LOP extender. It is called a Recoil pad, but it just extends the LOP.
    Those are great little rifles!

Check out the Olympic edition 10/22, they come with the twisted barrel and the boyd barracuda stock in red white and blue.

I always thought those looked pretty slick.

This is a copy of the 10-22 by Olympic Arms that is no longer made and has a stainless steel receiver with the weaver scope rail milled into it.

The first two are mine and the third is one I painted for a friend. I had one like the first stock you showed and it was fairly heavy for offhand use.

Do not argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
