Could someone tell me how to see an actual picture of these 2 Lee bullets? I have been reading about them on this site for sometime, but have not seen a picture or diagram of them. Thanks,.................RayT

I know Midsouth Shooters stocks them, unfortunately the link which shows them, in detailed drawings, is broken.
They recently updated their online catalog and there are a few items I found that are missing.

Thanks, I clicked on the site, but there was no picture...................................
Midsouth has changed there website,
they use to have an image of the boolits.
ANYWAY,
I have both of the molds...still never cast with either of them yet.
The MAX blocks are larger, so it appears that the Max cavites are smaller
when in actuality they are larger.

THANK YOU very much! Wow, look at the flats on the nose of those bullets! Looks like there is plenty of room for Lube with all those grooves. I am wondering if the width of those flats on the nose might cause feeding problems? I guess I think in terms of high-power and having to load repeatedly from the magazine. Then again every bullet I have ever seen that has flats like that shoots very accurately. Thanks again,.........................Ray
Thanks, JonB. I was looking for them, the other evening, but the picture has disappeared. Recently, I bought the Lee C324-175-1R, but have been thinking about the Karabiner.
Hopefully, someone will tell us of their experience with them.
Need to watch the weights on the karabiner, lists as 215, mine drops at 235. I have not shot many of them yet but would turn the 8x57 into a 32 whelen at these weights, make a real good close brush rifle. .
Gun control 1ST ROUND ON TARGET.
235 is what mine drops. have to seat them a little deeper but shot great
They were designed to be oversized to fit the worn throats of military surplus barrels. If your throat is not that worn you may have to seat them a little deeper. This is not a problem, the loads usually used with them do not fill up the case. If you have one with a worn out throat these boolits will get it shooting again.

There is no 'right' that requires me to work for you or you to work for me!
I have the Karabiner, it has a very large meplat and should be devastating on game.
Well, you guys did it again. You got me to spend yet more money on new paraphernalia! I had been waffling about getting the Karabiner mold, and this discussion put me over the top. Should be here in a couple days. Thanks...you bunch of enablers!
Do I understand correctly that the karabiner mold is designed for JS bore Mausers? I just bought a Lee Karabiner mold from SmokeUmJoe. I've got a nice Yugo Mauser, a Turk Mauser and a well worn Czech VZ-24 that I'd like to load for.
They call us civilized because we are easy to sneak up on.
If a little is good, a lot is better, and too much is just right.
Yes, it is designed for JS bore Mausers.
Back in stock at Midsouth as of today, 21 December 2013. Listening to you guys I just ordered 2. Thanks! Bob
