    lee 358-125rf & 38 spl. p.o.a.

    hello;

    anyone shoot the lee 358-125rf in their 38 spl.?

    does this bullet shoot to your pistols point of arm???

    pistol sights are set for a 158 grain bullet (f.b.i. load) and was just wondering if there will be a big change in point of impact by going to the lee 358-125rf bullet.

    thanks.

    Will probably shoot lower on the target.

    I shoot that boolit in a midrange plinker . Lube is 60/40 JPW and beeswax, boolit is loaded on top of 4 grains of trail boss. Good crimp. Easy shooting boolit, clean shooting and accurate for me.

    That is my favorite bullet. It shoots really good in anything I've ever tried it in. Marlin rifles to various pistols. It might shoot a little lower in your 38 depending on the load.

    I haven't tried it in a revolver yet, but I've shot a few boxes of 38 spl's seated out to the first lube groove and crimped. It's already my favorite in my Rossi 92 trapper. Minute of claybird fragment at 50 yds, and no reason to think it would not be pretty darn good on smaller game up to and including foxes, coyotes at close range, and niusance beavers damming up the farm brook so as to put the bridge under water.
