Lyman 45 part same as 450 or 4500?

Is the pressure screw on the 450 and or 4500 the same as the old 45? I had my screw break last night, didnt even have much tension on it. Hoping to be able to use the 450/4500 to repair it.
The part in question on the 450 is #9 on the schematic. Also is that screw threaded all the way down as it does not look like it on the schematic

the pressure screw and nut for the 450/4500 will work in the 45. You will have to modify th cap or purchase a cap for the 450/4500 which is what I wish i had done before modifying my cap for the new pressure screw.

Do you mean the one that has 2 o rings on it? I bought one of those right after I bought the 45 as the original part was worn out

yes. I have replaced several with a new pressure screw and nut.

You can buy caps to fit the slightly fatter shaft on the new pressure screws and one of our forum members makes them as well. He sent me several and I have to thank him!

Well have a new screw on order. Took the old one and was able to weld the bottom back on for a temp fix so I can keep lubing until the new one comes in
