The group buy isn't going to run till the summer, so Lee would be much faster. However, the reason for the group buy is the much better quality of NOE moulds plus the various options that NOE offers that Lee does not (plain base version, HP'd cavities, mixing of GC and PB cavities in one mould, different number of cavities, etc.). If you need a mould now, it might make sense to order the Lee and still be in on the GB so you get a much better mould when it runs.

Brass is going to be unavailable afterall except for all brass runs due to some unforseen problems. Bearcove, got you canceled. 19112TAP, I'll put you down if you still want a mould in aluminum, just let me know.

Umm,Excuse my ignorance,but what is wrong with the brass moulds?

Its not the moulds, but the tool used to cut the moulds. From what I understand Al discovered that the tool used for aluminum moulds wasn't strong enough to cut the brass ones reliably, and making two tools isn't cost effective. So, NOE is only offering brass moulds on all brass buys unless and until the problem is sorted out.
