Yes, its a clone of the Lee mould with the exception that is also available as a plain base.

And it will throw a .434" boolit and not the .428" like the lee I currently have now, correct? I have had to open mine up with aluminum tape. It is becoming a huge PITA! Now, gas check or not- HMMMMMMMM........

Any idea how fast a plain base 310 can be shot out of a rifle if sized right and the stars line up.

I would think 1400 - 1500 max would be doable.

1800 -2200 depending on bore condition, and lube, and fit, and your horoscope, burn rate of powder, and ...

Sorry, just having fun. Too many variables. Look at what you can do with a 45-70 with PB. As dia increases the need for a gas check decreases.

I really want one of these molds as I am tired of my Lee 310 giving me problems, but the boolit shsots great. I would love to get rid of the extra steps and expense of GC's but I would love the option of using these in a 444 down the road. Decisions, decisions.....

The solution is to mix cavities in the same mould, giving you options. For instance, you could order a 4 cavity 2PB 2GC mould and be good to go either way.

    I'm in for a 4-cavity aluminum mold; 2 GC, 2 PB.

Do I need to register at the Group Buy site?
