    I'm not really sure that I can. Some folks prefer brass moulds, some iron/steel, some aluminum. As I understand it brass moulds can be easier to use due to less head fluctuation and being made of a more durable metal. I've never cast with a brass mould, just aluminum and iron/steel. I actually have an easier time with steel/iron moulds, or at least I did for quite a while. Now that I am getting the feel for aluminum I like them just as well. I'm actually going to give some of the brass moulds a try on this buy, who knows, I might like them better.

    Its simple Brass is COOL! But heavy. Harder than Al softer than Iron.

    A 5 cav brass would be a hand full.

    A 2cav would feel like a Lyman 2 cav.

    That's what I think but,

    I have a question will this IF seated to the smallest OAL will it fit and cycle in a ruger 77/44 bolt gun?
    If it will I will want one If it will not then I dont need one any ideas?

    I imagine we can find someone with some boolits that can send you a sample to try. I don't have a Lee mould for this boolit anymore, and all the ones I cast before I sold it I've already shot.
