I just got my mould last week, I cast about 500 and had about 450 keepers. Loaded 50 for the 32WS and 50 each for 3 8x57s. It will bee the weekend before I can get to the range to tell how they shoot. My mould drops .325" and 177grns bare, Almost 180 flat gc & lube, It SHOULD be a good fit for the 8x57 I have high hopes.

The one autofix4u has worked well enough for my Yugo that I bought a 6 cavity. I hope it casts the same size as the 2 holer, but I haven't had time to cast it. Been working on other stuff.

Well, here's my tale of woe-- my mold tosses them out @ .327. I used the Lee Lube and sized them (in the Lee sizer) To .323" and had trouble fitting the Hornady gas checks. So in a moment of "brilliance" I tried running some thru the Lyman sizer (@ .321") and then firing them through my 8x57. The results were NOT good! I should have known better but didn't pay attention to what I was doing and wound up leading the final 8 or 10" of the barrel VERY badly-- to the point that I have been scrubbing lead for the past week. This is NOT to find fault with the RD mould, but to confess my sins in the hope that someone has a sure fire method of leasd removal short of applying mecury (in the hope of amalgamating the lead). I have a bunch of jacketed bullets loaded up and the first warm day will find me headed to the range to vent my exasperation. BTW, I have tried Hoppes, Shooters Choice lead remover, and Sweets 7.62. even tried pulling a .35 cal brass bore brush "backwards" through the bore, all to little effect. Mea Culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa! Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Might be a good reason to get a .35 cal barrel on the old Mau.

Make your own Lewis Lead Remover. Basically a rubber stopper, a piece of brass or bronze screen cut the size of a patch, and push it through. Scrapes most of it out in one pass.
I give loading advice based on my actual results in factory rifles with standard chambers, twist rates and basic accurizing.
My goals for using cast boolits are lots of good, cheap, and reasonably accurate shooting, while avoiding overly tedious loading processes.
The BHN Deformation Formula, and why I don't use it.
How to find and fix sizing die eccentricity problems.
Do you trust your casting thermometer?
    A few musings.

try COPPER chore boy pad wrapped around brush. and some oil.
i have removed some bad leading with the correct sized boolits before also.

i have an older ideal 170gr flat point for the 32 win that shoots quite well in my 8 mauser even pushed along a bit over 2200 it does better than the lyman round nose mentioned above and my noe 140.
but at one at a time speed it's reserved for hunting with a soft nose.

Thanks for the input. I'll give the " Choreboy" a try first. Thanks again, Stan
