Friend of mine in Missouri told me that they now allow anything other than a centerfire rifle during what used to be strictly archery season over there. I imagine the Striker would be a great choice.

If the rifle was a beater then I would say rebore to .250 or .300 Savage. Anyhoo, number 1 prices just keep going up so you could probably flip it for a profit easily.

Is the Striker built on a regular rifle action? If so, I would get an SBR stamp or a 16" barrel and then be able to use it as a rifle or pistol.

I think of the Axis as being the modern day Savage 340 or Remington 788. A rifle that shoots alot better than its appearance or price would suggest!
