Thought you guys would want to know. So, had it tested by BNE (much thanks) and the results were:

Sn = 88.6%
Pb = 3.5%
Cu = 3.3%
Sb = 4.6%

What % would you add to wheel weights to make them...

I had a 22LR from the 70s, think it was the 976?. It always worked well shot well. Gave it to my son years ago. He still likes it.

I ordered some from Ballistic Products. I hope the French shells work out. I have read some good and bad about Cheddite. Mostly not to load them hot or they will come apart.

You need to start with clean chambers. I would brush them and get everything out then try again. If 45 colt was shot in them as you say, there is residue there. Mine leaves a mess when I do.
