My Rock River loves hornady 500 gr. Rn. Sp. The recoil can be a bit much but live able. I found that most heavy cast bullets require the nose section to be sized to a smaller diameter than cast.

Awfully shiny to not have a fair amount of tin in it but it also seems to break like it is awfully hard.

I have way too many of all kinds. My lady said she counted 50 a couple of days ago when were moving things around.

The Ma 2 was the best as long as you didn't have to move it or a lot of it's ammo. I was a 60 gunner so not much interested in shooting one again. They all are easier when there are no POP UP SHOOT...
Been using it for a long time but as others have said use it with heavy charges and heavy bullets.

What are you welding that you need .035 wire? It's fine for large things but for anything that a normal person would do it is too big. Find some .030 or .025. 75-25 is the best gas for mild steel.

My Grand Father was a Blacksmith and he used to make lots of knives using old files. They were really good knives but you didn't have much choice on what it looked like.

There was one floating around the Cal. gun shows years ago in 460 Wea. The owner claimed it had been only fired 3 times I assumed he was the 3rd owner.
They are the best, once you handle and shoot one will be ruined for anything else.
The 68 H&G has been the standard for a long time. Get one you will be happy.

The Zinc in Galvanize will flat make you sick like a real bad flu. We had to be real careful working with it. Plasma cutters can get in trouble real fast I was required to wear breathing equipment...

I spent my whole working life as a Boilermaker Welder in an Oil Refinery. We spent 3 years learning how to weld and were still learning from experience for years after. Buy a good buzz box and don't...

The first thing you did with the Vette Mag pulse unit was to find another point type tack drive dist. and take the Mag pulse one out change a little wiring so you could use the point type dist.
Bottom pour with some sort of support or you will get unhappy in short time but you flat stole them so put up with a little pain.
