Don't recall. It was part of a 308 and 312 bullet making set that he made for me.

I have a 4 die set from BT to reduce 9mm to 30 cal jacket . I start with #2 if using 223 brass

RCBS says 1.2. Others say 1.18. Mine measure 1.165. If it will cover that range, it should be good.

I'd like a 308 jig for making 45acp shotshells.

I have a set of 9mm swaging dies that BT made for me a couple years ago as a prototype. They work perfectly. Also have a set of his draw dies to make 30 cal jackets from 9mm brass. I have found...

I've always used the oven. I go straight from derim to the oven. Any lube is burned off in short order. No cleaning of the brass before just to clean it again after. I got the oven for $50 on...

I have something similar. I drilled a 1" hole in an old butter tub and threaded the die through it into the press.

The Classic Cast Turret is not a good press for Swaging. The shell plate has movement (slop) that would not be good for swaging. In addition, I doubt it could handle the strain.

I test fired mine along with perfect bullets and they were just as accurate

If one of those oversized dies lands around .326, I've got a couple 8mm Mausers I could use a die set for.

The inside of my die measures .546, so I would say yes.

Pretty sure mine is solid and not hollow in the middle like yours

BTSNIPER llc. Now THAT man is getting big. I will show my grandchildren my prototype dies and tell them stories of walking uphill both ways to school. ;)

Don't make them too nice. Then I will just want to upgrade.

My current supply of 9mm ran me 2 cents each, delivered. The 5.7 I got for a similar price but couldn't get near the same quantity.

As the proud owner of a set of BT's draw dies to reduce 9mm to 30 cal, I must say that they are very easy to use. I start with annealed brass and then just run each piece through all 4 dies and have...

This is the reason that I only buy dies from BT. Well worth the wait.
Also, when he starts selling his own presses, I'll be in line for that too.
Looking forward to trying them all out.

Bump for all of us that got our dies this week, and request for sticky since it's more of a tutorial

Where's the 45 die sticky? There's 10 more people out here wanting to discuss'

I've never used a rest shooting mine but they seem just as accurate as any commercial bullet I've fired. I'm confident that I can keep all 13 rounds from my G23 on a 12" plate from 25 meters (82...
