I score my scrounged up bars of solder with marks that have 0.05 pounds of tin between them.
That way if I want to improve fill-out I just dangle it up to the next line in my 10 pound pot to add...

I’m not at all convinced that it won’t chamber in a 32 S&W or 32 S&W Long revolver.
The diameter of this at the base is listed as 0.3425”.
That’s not much larger than some sloppy chambers I’ve...

I would be highly tempted by a Savage Axis for this cartridge, at least on a Black Friday type deal, simply as a repeating bunny-gun.
I would already own one in 327 if they made them.

    3” = 0.25’
    0.25 rise / 5’ run = 5% slope
As stated above, 1” per foot or 8.33% is the limit.
    5% is a good slope.

I think 1” might be a bit long.
It depends on the intended revolver.
    A J frame 38 has a longer cylinder than a 32.
    My notes show 1.588” max COAL for a 36-1 and 1.436” for a 31-1.

    The history is fascinating.
There’s also a lot of history in the other target rifles, like the 44s & later the 38s & 32s.
