I shoot cast boolits in the 30-06 too. I cast with a RCBS 30-180 mold and it uses a gas check.

I've been looking for a good way to store my molds and this looks like it would be a good solution.

I got mine and I'm very pleased with it. No regrets what-so-ever.

Donald, I never had much luck shooting the 358156 boolit without the gas check. The accuracy just was not as good as when there was a gas check. Every gun is different though, so YMMV. Ken
