they have recently brought in legislation similar to what we have here in the UK in which semi auto's / full auto's (and possibly pistols also in Oz) are banned.

Well, I shot a box of Norinco 230 grain FMJ through my 1911 today, grouping the same as the cast bullet (boolit) rounds i'd put together, so the question is, is it the pistol or is it that i can't...

Aparently they didn't need to as that big fat lump of lead bumbling along at about 650 / 700 fps was plenty enough to do what was intended of it, without the need for tumbling when they hit.....:-?
