I imagine red would work quite well.

No more messy benches this week...lol.
I'd post a picture of mine, but it's all cleaned up and the car/sawmill parts are back where they belong.
As an aside, some you do truly keep some...

Just out of curiosity, do you have in mind how many calibers you plan to reload for? I wonder if it would be worth permanently affixing the bushings into the toolhead. Say, JB weld, red lock tight,...
I use brake cleaner or sometimes acetone. If it's just a wrinkle and you don't see anything in the cavity, a quick blast should do.

jmort, I picked up a dozen on sale for $10/pr. You're right....they're not unreasonably priced, they just add quite a bit to a set of dies and I felt guilty buying them already having a million...

I really like the lock ring eliminators. I just don't like the expense. I wonder if you maybe got one with some monkeyed up threads.
And I'm in the opposite camp with the retaining button on the...

I just bought a 4-20, also. Hoping the transition from ladle to bottom pour is an easy one.
Started on a camp stove with a doggy bowl, then an RCBS cast iron pot, then a Lee 20lber, and now a...

Good advice. I can completely see myself doing that.

I wouldn't price off eBay...half that stuff is priced to never sell, or for impatient people...haha.
I'd try to be at or under $75 if it was in excellent condition.

I think you need to be in the inch-lb range also...but that's the good part of
Your design...it's versatile.
It would be intetesting to use a device like this to measure sizing force with...

I'm not familiar with measuring seating pressure, but don't see any reason that wouldn't work.

I use an RCBS pad and "udderly smooth".
Makes your hands soft too.
Outboards are water cooled....the assumption is the oil won't stand up to the same beat as an oil designed for air cooled 2 strokes.
I use Stihl Ultra...in my saws and on my sprue plates.

Enlightening discussion. Thanks for sharing.

In my experience it is a great industry overall, and that's what prompted my post.
Your probably right about RCBS...you got someone busy or for whatever reason inattentive, and I doubt it is...

Has anyone ever had bad service by the manufacturer of reloading equipment?
I've dealt with Lyman, RCBS and Lee, over broken parts, worn out parts and etc...and been treated awesome every time.

That hasn't been the case across Lee presses so far.
I think, however, the poster was saying one could upgrade/change to this new press without buying turrets, or toolheads, or whatever.

Natchez is 10% off reloading gear tonight...with the press listed at $106.
Not in stock :(

That don't look bad, desiko. Autocorrect doesn't like your handle. I hope by the time i fixed it 5 times its still close...lol

There are a few awesome products, for sure. I love the six cavity molds...even though I was hesitant to buy. I also like the classic turret, classic cast, auto drum, bench prime, bullet sizing dies,...

Put her up, JB!
FWIW...I've been rebuilding a bunch of sawmill parts at home...and my daughters care needed wheel bearings. Only had one place to do that. It's done, but the aftermath ain't...

Auto drum is $37, and auto prime is $22...the leap to 230 was a big'n.
