Is that a Dillon 450 manual measure?

I'm a sucker for the old school large presses.
I just picked up this tank of a press off Ebay for $100. It appears to be complete and in working order.
I may restore it when I get some time. ...

Dillon has also been hyper-responsive for me - after speaking to a tech on the phone about an issue, I had replacement parts in my mailbox 48 hours later. No charge.
Dillon rocks.

Any deals out there on a roll sizer?

Here's a good spot to monitor primer deals/availability:...

Good call on the Dillon purchase.
My opinion of course, but my view is that Dillon is superior in every important way to other progressive presses.

I have two indispensable tools:
1. Giraud Trimmer
2. Harrell Powder Measure
Both are heirloom-quality tools that will last a lifetime.
Not cheap, but I believe tools are only "expensive"...

Bubble wrap the press and then surround with "Good Stuff" crack foam.
It conforms to the box and protect the press - just make sure the press is completely wrapped to the foam doesn't mar the...

I ordered mine from Photo Escape - fantastic product.

Update on my T7 - I installed Creedmoor Sport's T7 upgrade kit: https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product/creedmoor-redding-t7-turret-press-upgrade-kit/creedmoor_sports_brand.
Huge difference and...

Mine also has a standard 5 digit serial number.
It is "09110" - does that mean it is from the latter part of the manufacturing run?

I size first and then go through a Redding GRX die (I load .40).

I also own the Harvey and it's the bees knees.
Highly recommended.

The SDB is reliable, easy to use, and has a no-BS lifetime warranty.
For 300 pistol rounds a month, the SDB would be my choice.

Buy a new tube and see if that solves the issue.
Time is money and the tubes are inexpensive.

I own several Dillon presses, including three 650s, three SDBs, and a 450.
The SDB is my favorite and as the OP stated, it is a genius design. Easy to use and works every time.
I love my 650s,...

Never seen one of those before - looks very interesting.

Agree with the above posts - don't get wrapped around the axle with your pistol powder charges. Hyper-accuracy doesn't overcome the inherent variables involved in pistol shooting.
Find a good...

Mine has a standard 5 digit number plate.
Yours is very interesting - what a piece of RCBS history.

My preference is the Ohaus Dial O Grain, but that may not meet your portability requirement.
Dillon's Eliminator beam scale is a solid choice for a second scale - accurate, easy to move, and easy...

I love my T-7 - it's a quality tool that enables repeatable accurate loads.

I have several M1s that include both 308 and 30.06 calibers.
The 308 is a nice shooting round in the Garand and plenty accurate.
My preference is 30.06 - something just feels right about it.

I'd never shoot steel-cased rounds out of my M1s.

I work part-time at a range and had a guy bring in a box full of stuff he found at a garage sale - he wanted us to sell it for him.
It's mostly 70s stuff and includes a nice Lyman beam scale,...
