Couldn't agree more. While 5.56 is a little ridiculous below 10 or so inches, 9mm doesn't gain hardly anything after 7 or 8. Anything more is just added weight and less manuverability, IMO.

You actually want less chances? It's funny, the last sentence I quoted sounds like an argument in favor of 9mm over 45 rather than the other way around.
