A friend of mine has an old rifle in .38-56, will he have to find a custom set?

John has worked on 2 of my old Marlins, an 1893 and an 1894. Both were over a 100 years old. Even though I live in NJ, I wouldn't think of sending any of my guns to anyone else.

I got a roller. It's a Remington model made by Pedersoli in .45-70 and has a 26" barrel.

I would get the RCBS cowboy die set and forget about it. The 3 pc die set covers any surprise that might come up. I am not the typical CB member. I don't like to fuss around with how to do something.

If you want to reload lead cast bullets, they are one of the best things going.

I don't know if I am imagining things, but it has always seemed to me that the wood on the Pedersolis' were just a bit nicer than the Ubertis'.

I went on the Ruger site trying to find the calibers made in the last few years. No go. So I surfed the ne and this site had a nice list of the last 4-5 years or so. It would help anyone fill in gaps...
