why would you have to send the complete gun ? if they are working on the trigger it seems like they would only need the receiver.

the best measure cover imo is a uncle mikes scope cover. the flip up kind. just measure the tube and get one that is a snug fit. i got tired of chasing mine around on the floor. murphy's law says it...

how big of a hammer are you trying to make? i make a smaller hammer for use in the shop. i use a pipe nipple. drill a hole in one side for a piece of dowel. i use a 1/2 inch hole in a 3/4 x 2 1/2 in....

you might try motor mica. very slick. workes well on shotgun wads.
