Rancher, thanks for info. I suspected the casting would be more complicated than normal, which is another reason why I am looking to test a few rounds before committing to a mold.

I tried the Lee 356 124 tc for my Sig p226, but was getting keyholes. After slugging the barrel (.356) it quickly became apparent that I needed a fatter boolitic closer to 358.

I never get lucky to find things like that. Very cool. Since we don't have any remaining family that was in the war, I would frame it and donate to a local VFW.
