+1 you have a mould that someone else has all ready send back. If you got it new I would return it to lee asap.

I have very good luck with 50% xlox and 50% jpw on low pressure .45 colt loads. I'm too lazy to pan lube a quick shack in a tub with a little lube pour out let dry and load.

shots well over 3 gr. red dot in a .38 case.

I have a 7.5" red hawk, I find 5gr. internalional clay or 6gr. red dot with 240gr. SWC. to be a mild fun to shot load with very good accuracy at 50 yards or less. using open sights cant see much past...

Jim, I dont know if this will help but I have an old lee enfield 303 british gun with too much headspace as most of the old enfields did. I load 180 gr cast over 9 gr. red dot. I had the same problem...

Winchester 94 forever, light load 30/30 150 gr cast at about 1000fps. It just dont get any better.

as per quickload, 10 gr. unique = 1813fps 21653 psi chamber pressure. Thats in a 24 inch barrel. looks to be a fair load for playing, may kill a can or two.

I ran this on my Quickload program. The amount of unique it would take to reach 2000 fps would put you start pressure way over the limit. cant be done safely. you need to use a much slower powder.

I load the lee 125 gr. rnfp for both rifle and pistol.very good accuracy in both. fly at about 800 fps in pistol, about 1100 in rifle.

My daughter started shootin at 6, by 7 she was better than I. She is now 34 and can still beat me on the skeet field. but by all means teach safty first. and let her progress at her own pace and yes...

have a lee 10# over 15 years old, and a lee 20# about 10 years old. never had any trouble with them. price wise guess I will stay with lee.
