There are a lot of other things to use as flux that are cheap, available, work as well (or better), and are SAFER.

Okay, so I'll bite. What's wrong with a roll crimp? I use them all the time. Never have misfires either. How does a roll crimp cause misfires?

I suspect you are right. But I get all queasy about shooting bullets with little lube on them. Still, I came here for advice, so I am certainly going to follow it.
