First mold was a two cavity 405 gr 45-70 aluminum mold. Second was a pair of Lyman 9mm 147 gr iron molds. I liked how iron casts so much I ordered another iron 45-70 mold.

If it does say either "chilled" or "magnum" how hard is that in relation to 92-6-2? Will it cast nicely?

which thermometer did you have and how did you test it?

Sized and lubed 1k 45-70 rounds with 50/50 mix. No problems. Haven't tried harder lubes but I can see how getting the pressure and heat right could be frustrating.
