I've loaded up a few hundred rounds using tissue so I'll keep an eye out for this.

I use one ¹/⁴ square of cheap single ply toilet paper as filler in my loads, seems the majority of it burns up in the 14" of barrel and the roll I bought is enough to load many many rounds.

My most fun rifle is a 14" suppressed Marlin 7000T, "zip zip zip"

Very very close second is the Winchester 67, such a simple and good looking rifle.

The Rossi single shots are a bit heavy but I'm really enjoying mine after a little work.
I cut and threaded the barrel to fit a suppressor, .38spl really is proper quiet now with no more felt recoil...

Personally I'd be using the .22Hornet barrel you say you have.
But seeing as youre asking for something different, I'd be looking at the 256Win Mag.
Plenty of parent brass and projectile selection...

Heck that is a great looking little rifle, I have long been a fan of the Winchester 67 single shot .22lr and have often craved one in a larger caliber like .22 hornet or .25-20.
