Kroil or Ed's Red on a brass .410 shotgun bore brush. In more severe cases chucked in a power screwdriver or ran at reasonable speed in a variable speed drill.

As stated in an earlier post.. I don't think the old Lee mallet sizer I started with in the early 70's is in production any longer.
The chamber was tapered on them so the boolit was completely...
The one I picked up a year or so ago came back from Canada. Montreal I believe.
I have thought a lot about getting (or building) something like a small sand blasting cabinet with a work light inside, baffled arm holes, and no nooks and crannies for parts to hide in.
Maybe...
If you have one close, Hobby Lobby has some leather working supplies. I get snaps there from time to time.
And I also love the Roy's Pancake design. I shamelessly copy it.

One of the first molds I acquired way back when I got started in this endeavor some 40 odd years ago, was an old Lyman 358480 133 to 135 gr. SWC.
Kind of a funny little rounded swc, but it...
.410 shotgun bore brush works very well as a chamber brush. Always took care of any deposit I ever got.
Hornady hollow based wad cutter seated to just let cylinder turn gives me the best results of any I've tried in 32/20 brass. Lee 90 swc works OK, just not quite as well as the WC.
I use long cases in my .38's for shot shells. I run them in a die I fashioned to bottle neck them so they fit the chambers.
Keep pressures down so they don't stick, seems to work fine. Higher...
Robertsons Trading post has a selection of S&W Model 10's just recently brought back in from the Montreal P.D. Start at $269 for a 10-10 HB and go up from there.
I just received mine. Some...
An old Alliant guide from 1995 that I happen to have close at hand lists 8.2 behind a 210 jacketed. 1225 fps, 34,300 psi.
Don't own a .41, so not a recommendation.

My original 1974 vintage single cavity 358-105-SWC has a different nose profile, and base band width than my new 6 cavity. Not drastic, but a definite change of design.
My brother in law had similar situation years ago with Browning BLR .243. Ended up getting a "small base" die set to solve problem. Seemed like rifle had a minimum chamber and needed cases sized...

For what it is worth, a year ago I would have shrugged tome boy's powder coating comment off, and went on... I now believe he may have a point.

I was having accuracy problems with that boolit,...
9 mm Makarov of some sort maybe??? Without more info, or a pic. just a WAG.

Been a long while since I played with it, but my 1858 Rem. repro. likes them just fine. (45/200 R.E.A.L) Haven't put them on paper to any great extent, but clanging steel plates they seem to do...

I have the very same kit, purchased and assembled about the same time as your uncle got yours. Best accuracy I ever got was with .440 balls from a Lee mold, patching from a 1960 era army fatigue...
A cute little starburst paint mark on top of a big red welt if you don't wear a heavy jacket... I've also seen them in .223.

Add a little sliced, browned Polish sausage or left over bratwurst.. I can hear my arteries clogging!

When I was a kid my mother pickled smaller ones that weren't too bad in texture yet, just like a red beet. They were good. The big woody ones just wouldn't work though I'm sure..

Crackers and milk. Fresh baked bread dunked in cold milk, Sorghum and peanut butter on crackers.
Favorites since spending summers with Granddad as a kid.
Don't know about pickles and PB...
