55,000 should be about right. You should be able to use 222 Remington load data for it. 222 Remington has a case capacity of 26.9gr of H2O, while 5.45x39 has a case capacity of 27gr of H20.

I need a lever gun chambered in 30 bobcat. Same bullets, powder, and primers as 300 blackout. Similar performance I would assume.

I've thought about using .357 Maximum cartridges to form rimmed 300 blackout cases. I think that would be a really cool lever gun cartridge.

If fresh water won't work to make the rubber float you could use salt water. The saltier the better for making stuff float.

When I worked in a gun store and rang up ammo it would ask for the birth date. If I could tell the person was clearly old enough to be buying ammo I didn't ask and just entered a random date.
