I'll have to try that but it wouldn't be for a while.
one thing i do is take a scrap piece of carpet to pushed around the cool whip container on in hopes that it helps build more static.

i'm planning on casting for my new NEA ar15 in 556 and am wondering what bullet weight would be good, it's a 1 in 7 twist. i'd really love to get the 80gr spire point NOE makes. hopefully powder...

1300 rounds for my 375gr spire points in the 500 mag, she's a hungry beast! i would buy 10 jugs at that price!

i've never found a 700gr 50 cal bullet for my 500mag in Canada for sale, loaded or just the boolit. All the other reasons listed above, though i still go to bars and drink :/

well that's interesting, i thought it was common place to use 40's for it. i guess the biggest thing is not enough neck tension allowing for easier setback.

i don't lube before sizing as i size as cast powder coated. but if i did, i like using lee's lube mixed with 20 parts or more of 99% isopropyl alcohol

if i had range scrap, i would use only that. i've been using a 50/50 mix of WW to pure for all my powder coating bullets in pistol cal's up to the 500mag.
Forum: Lead and Lead Alloys
pure lead is generally worth more then alloyed stuff like wheel weights (clip on). i really wish he was next to me because i don't shoot black powder and all the lead i find seems to be pure outside...

Very nice looking Blanco! Do you use stain steel media for cleaning your brass?
I fired off 250rounds today (200 were hp) and didn't have any leading or issues like that. 1 pull of the bore...

One thing I would try is to do your base colour coat, and then sprinkle a second colour once you have them standing up on a tray. Then you only have to bake once.
Forum: Coatings and Alternatives
any chance you can post pictures of your powder coated boolits and loaded rounds?

i thought this was pictures only, so to keep with that here.

What I do is put the container on my carpet and slide it back and forth. I would imagine the shaggier the better.

Yes, I usually do 100 boolits at a time, and the missing powder on the tips is mostly from me standing them up on a tray to bake.
Those 2 powders (tool blue I believe, and kawasaki greeb) ...

for the price of the powder, worth a shot (haha) but i think the plastic will be better as it will build static.
