Second that. You can extend your shooting considerably by reusing shot bullets. In this age of rapidly dwindling resources it's something we'll all have to get used to sooner or later.

Might be worth experimenting with alloy composition to see if you can reduce cast dimension before attempting to modify a mould. I'd be very reluctant to use paint to do this.

After doing a lot of research I've settled on a Magma Star and just ordered it. It should be with me in a couple of weeks.

I'm fortunate in that I live somewhere where you don't have to and we often don't.

As for lead, tin & copper we have plenty of that here. So I'm not convinced I'd need to move anywhere else.
