I have shot quite a bit of Green dot under 240gr JSP out of my 44 mags. They work pretty well as a light to medium load. I have no experience with N105, so can't comment on that, other than to say...

Shrapnel and some others have good advice. I was born and raised in Montana and have lived in Boise for 20 years. Personally, I am more worried about Mountain Lions when I am out in the woods as...
Very nice setup and great looking shotgun. You should be proud.
I am going to do some bench shooting with all 4, using the bullets I have and keep some notes on accuracy and leading, so I can build a baseline and see if I need to change anything or not.
I am lucky enough to own four 44 Mag revolvers. I measured the throats this morning, as I noticed some leading in one of them the other day. The average cylinder throat measurement by revolver are:...
I have and shoot many S&W and Ruger revolvers, in a variety of cartridges. With respect to a S&W reference, I'd suggest dropping in on the S&W forum. Many experts that can tell you everything you...
Herco is just a touch slower than Unique and makes some fine handgun loads. It may be easier to find than Unique these days.
If I could just have one it would be a Glock 26 or a Glock 19. Magazines are everywhere and so are parts. They shoot and handle great. Can also buy a Ruger PC carbine and run the Glock mags in it....

I have a Glock 20 and have shot quite a lot of cast bullets through it. Current favorite is the MontanaBulletWorks 200gr NOE WFN-GC over blue dot. I tested quite a few powders and had the best...
FWIW, I have 4 S&W 45ACP handguns - two of the 1989 model N Frames, one 1911 and one 4506. As mentioned, the N frames are stunningly accurate and a great hoot to shoot. My two semi autos are going...

Steel works great. Kitchen knives get treated once a week or so. Also work to sharpen serrated blades.
Forum: Factory & Surplus Powder
As mentioned, great powder for 12 ga AA trap shells, and about every handgun cartridge. I'd take an 8 pounder any day.

Was it stored in a cool, dry place? Reason I ask is that I have a case of it in my cool dry basement. I am wondering if it is corroding as you describe. I've had it for probably 15 years.

Well, factory loads shoot pretty well. I shot it some this AM. I will have to try a few powders and primers and see how it responds.

What's a fair price for a #3 in 22 hornet, used? GB seems to have some around the $1000 mark. Which seems like a lot of money but maybe I need a different datum.
