I get my sawdust by the garabage bag from friend that builds cabinets and other wood working things. Course big black bag will last you long time.
Works good in 40's i have loaded and shot. I also using it in some 357's and works good for me. Keeps pressure down on the 40's which is good for me. Have even shot bunchs of 45acp loaded with it and...
Seems you have hit on something with they JB Weld. Knew was good stuff but never thought about it using it to fill plasma cut top strap. As many have stated when it goes is easy to replace it.
10gr.'s of blue dot works well for me and is accruate out of 4" 629 and pleasure to shoot
Have used Blue Dot in 44's for many years and had no problems. Have used in 40's also and have not seen any pressure signs in either. Haven't used any in 357 but wouldn't have any problem using it.

Thanks for your responses and appreciate your help. I wound up with 3 lbs thru a deal with a friend and have used it in 45acp and a few 40 caliber. Just wondered what else could use it in. As in...

How many of ya'll use Longshot powder and in what calibers do you use it with?:-o
S&W model 66 is my plinking and carrying around the place gun, works good on most varmints and paper when just walking around or punching paper.
I guess a blind hog will find an acorn once in while, for i have model 29 and model 629 that have worked well for me for several years and real pleasure to shoot.
Little springs are like poking bear never know which way they going when they jump.
I guess because i started castting and loading 44 first i would say it is, but i do both and really isn't much difference. Just be safe and enjoy.
Sorry about the gun but thank goodness your nephew wasn't injured.
My Springers eat whatever i feed them. From hardball J bullets to any of my cast boolits.
Have number of 1911's and have found love shooting them but i have come full circle now and back to my S&W whel guns. I enjoy both but when push comes to shove just shooting at paper and toting on my...

Have tried all of the things to keep varnish out of carb. but still before i try to crank each year i just drain the bowl and even though have run it dry there is some still some gas left there. My...
Sounds like EAA isn't gun advertised or you have a lemon. I know your most patient man and i am afraid i would have lost my cool with them long ago. Wish you the best in your problems.
Kathie, is go to lady for great lead and will buy mine from her as long as she smelting it and most of all a wonderful person that is straight forward and reliable. What more can anyone ask for?
Fact it if wifey isn't happy you won't be either so let her have it and get you a matching one. Just make sure she truly enjoys shooting and carrying it.
AS age goes along have found less recoil is better. Perhaps if lived where were Grizzlies or large brown bears would have need for 50 caliber but even the biggest hogs fall victim to the lowly 44mag....

Glad this came up and reminded me i haven't shot my M1 lately.

Perfer the heavy 44 mag round but then 45 hard ball will kill them i just rather have the stouter round. Mad hogs fall in same bracket of mad bears and mad women any one of the three will hurt you.
Yes, you can for can kill a whitetail with 22LR but i perfer the 44mag because hunt in brush and want it to either hit ground there or if runs will be leaking good. The round will do it's job if you...
