That is the exact same mould (-the GC) that I currently own and can't get to feed properly.
Adding polymer tips is a cool idea.
That is exactly what Barnes did with their wildly popular 110...
With a Noveske Barrel, I size my 247 Grain NOE FN boolits to .309 and they are good to go.
The mould puts them out at .311 and I use a Lee sizing die to get them to .309
Since they are both the same shape, I would think that would be possible....
While getting this mould made would be awesome, the normal sources for one off moulds are not able to produce one with such a small Meplat.
I have not contacted Sweede @ NOE yet, but if he is able...

I have a two cavity mould without gas checks.
Mould works very well and I am impressed with the quality.
Here is a video of some samples of loaded ammo that I sent to by Quiet Riot over at 300 BLK...
Here is the latest versions of my "Dream Moulds" for 300 BLK.
Here are the subsonic and super sonic boolits that I would like to get moulds for....
I run a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M3 Front Focal Riflescope with a TMR Reticle on my ARs.
I'm a competitive long range precision rifle shooter and tend to use more magnification than most for...
N110 as in Vihtavuori N110
http://www.lapua.com/en/products/reloading/vihtavuori-powders
It cycles a 300 BLK AR just fine, burns extraordinarily clean, has 100 % case fill, and yields outstanding...
No problem...
FYI, N110 is by far the best powder for supersonic 300 BLK loads.
Super clean, very accurate and close to 100% case fill.
The AA#9 works well, but the case fill is only about 75%...
Accurate #9 works great for 300 BLK supersonic loads.
15.5 grains under a 110 grain bullet is a safe place to start.
The twist rate required to stabilize a bullet is primarily dependent on the length of the bullet at a given velocity.
A cast boolit is more dense than a jacketed bullet and therefore will be shorter...
I agree on the weight, but going heavier allows it to mimic the jacketed bullet performance better.
Additionally, the heavier boolit allows one to use the Forster Hollow Pointing jig to make hunting...
Thanks again for the samples Joel!
I can't wait to test them out.
Hopefully they are just what I'm looking for.
I feel fortunate that I was able to get on the list to receive your samples.

Thanks for the input!
Good to know about the Meplat having to be above the bottom of the feed ramps.
As far as not having to be at mag length, I've had problems in the past when 300 BLK loads...
Thanks for the info.
I run into DS all the time over at 300 BLK Talk.
His boolit designs are pretty cool.
I know that he was hoping to get a smaller point on the 31-225B-D than what he ended up...
I got into casting my own boolits a few years ago specifically for use with Subsonic 300 BLK.
This forum was a priceless resource for helping me get up and running and enabled me to purchase my...

More importantly for the 300 BLK when used in an AR configuration is the Ogive location.
The COAL need to be equal to where the magazine contacts the Ogive in order to feed well.
The OAL for the...
