I'm looking for a Lyman 450. Have one but would like to have another so I can have 9MM and .45 set up without changing dies. Any reasonable offer considered.
Ditto on swaging. I have the Dillon and it has worked very well for me on all mil brass. 9MM, .45, 5.56, and 7.62

Hey- Thanks guys for all the good advice. Will probably try removing the mag safety first, then maybe getting in contact with someone who knows what they're doing.

I recently purchased a BHP 9mm after years of wanting one, guess I'm just a John Browning fan having owned 1911s for many years, but the trigger pull is so stout I can hardly set it off. Breaking my...
I figured it would be alright, but no harm in asking. Thanks fellas...
I've searched the threads but can find nothing about loading large pistol magnum primers in .45ACP. I have a couple boxes I'd like to use up. Any one tried this?, if so I'd appreciate your load data....

LWK- Are you saying that the 63/37 should have taken a harder pencil to score it? According to my notes, H will score linotype, so this stuff is harder than lino. It could be that the solder degraded...

I was recently going thru my archives and dragged out a 1 gal can of solder which my brother in law, who ran a printed circuit board factory many years ago, gave me. Explained that he was cleaning...

Suo Gan- Why would the lino be worth less? Because it is not identifiable? It's only worth less if you're going to sell it, correct?

I posted a note recently inre the Circle Mfg. plumbers burner and 6"-8"pots I had ordered via my local plumbing dist., and that the 8" pot had leaked while I was smelting some WWs, and I was pissed!...

Zomby Woof- That's pretty ingenious. How do you correlate your readings to BHN?

Received my Cabine Tree today and found the SML pencils at Staples for 14.43 inc. tax. Will do some comparisons this weekend. Remember our Vets...

Mike- Seriously, I really thought you were making a joke. Sorry I misunderstood. It's not a sin to be naive about something, we all ask questions here and learn from each other. I've been asking a...

Weigh it. If its 5#s its probably plumbers lead. Looking at the picture, there's a sprue on the right hand side where the next ingot was attached. Usually were made in 4 or 5 ingot strings as my...

Mike- This guy is asking a legitimate question, and your response is of no help... But it WAS funny. Har-Har-Har.

Definitely %tin/%lead, as in 63/37, the mix with perfect eutectic properties. Just google it.

It's funny this subject should come up. I had an old Mapp gas cyl. that had a lot of rust and dirt in the port and wouldn't seal on my burner nozzle even after trying to clean it. What do I do??? I...

Yikes! Are they hot?? Have you ever checked one with an exposure meter? Where do you find them? You have me intrigued.

PS: The valve that came with the furnace is chintzy, usable but not very controllable. I'm looking for a valve like comes on a weed burner with the round control knob. Also, the stick-on WWs I mixed...

I opted for the Circle Mfg. furnace and 6"/8" pots. The furnace works great, the 6" pot advertised at 25# will hold 20#, and you better have it level. I lit up the 8" pot to smelt some WW I picked up...
CM- So if I did buy the Lee, would it give me the same reading if I used it in my old RCBS Jr. and my new Rockchucker? The old Jr. is a little loose. Would this affect the indentation?
