seen worse,, and yes it's scale from getting hot..
the screw, right size screwdriver, try tapping the handle while turning ( vibration might help break it loose )

pretty much settled on loads that work for...
Really, best to try one first.. They can be brutal with some loads..and expensive to shoot.
