I have used both graphite and Motor Mica.
They both have worked well for me.

I have a Marlin Classic and 225415 and 225438 Lyman molds.
It like the lighter 225438 the best.
It will shoot the 225415 , but you have to push it pretty hard to stabilize it.

First off, I don`t cast often.
When I do, I cast a lot of bullets.
I drain my pot every time that I finish a run of a particular bullet.
If I know that I am going to cast with the same alloy...
Mine has 100% function with 32 gr of 4064 or IMR 4895 with cast from 150-200 gr.
That seems to be lighter than most M1s want.
Start low and when you get to 100% function call it good.

I have owned a number of 22 RF rifles over the years.
My 581 is by far the most accurate.
It is not so fussy about which ammo you feed it.
If I get over to the east side to shoot sage rats, I will easily shoot over 1000.
If just shooting for fun, insert plinking here, it will be more like 500.
I`ll tell you how long that I have been loading.
Winchester primers came that same box with wooden trays.
loading presses came with flat and rounded primer seating punches.

My lot of WC820 says to use AA9 data.
I have and that has worked out well.
My lot of WC844 says to use H335 data.
That has worked out well, also.

I have the alloy page printed and tacked to the wall of my loading room.
Some great info here: http://www.lasc.us/CastBulletNotes.htm
There are several recipes for Lyman #2.

I have the Hornady model that dverna is alluding to.
I am happy with mine.

I only shoot the CCI CB long or CB Short in my 10" Contender barrel.
I also like Aguila Calibri and Super Calibri.
They're used only in short barreled fire arms.

My 22 Hornet likes 296 with 40 gr V Max.

I have two 22 caliber molds.
Both are Lyman classic GCs.
225415 and 225438
I cast them from linotype and have no more rejects than my 25, 7MM, or 30 caliber molds.
I shoot these bullets in my 22...

I have those sauces that you mention.
That sounds really good.
How much of it do you mix into a 5# batch?

What Larry said.
I have used jacketed data for cast bullets in handguns since I began reloading.
I do not have pressure testing equipment but have not had any issues.

I have NEVER had a FTF due to bad primers.
I have been reloading since the early 60s.
ALMOST always, a FTF was due to firearms issues.
Primers not seated firmly on the bottom of the primer pocket...
311291 is the first mold that I bought.
A single cavity that I still have.
It shoots well in any 30-caliber cartridge that will handle it.
I have no experience with the 311041 so I can`t compare...
I`m using 700X, because I have 10# of it.
I have used several other powders with equal success.
