I won't name a particular rifle. But as a general principle, as I've aged, 68 now, the more recoil adverse I've become. Glad to be casting, reloading several sweet reduced loads.
I do. Available at low cost. Winchester AA hulls work fine for me. I get very nice accuracy.

I use H4895, likely because of their 60% formula. Regardless of the reasons, I get very satisfactory results in my 7mm08 and 338 Federal. Would likely enjoy similar results if I'd devoted the same...

RCBS sells, or once sold an old Lyman 7mm mould. It is a Loverin design, 150 gr. It casts 145-146 with WW. My Ruger 7mm-08 absolutely loves it. It's so consistently accurate it almost gets boring...

I learned of BLL (Bill's Liquid Lube) and haven't looked back. It requires very little extra equipment (I bought a generic squeeze ketchup bottle at Gordon's Foods), is easy to use and yields...

Enough already! Read what the boy's father is telling you. I'm used to this type of self righteous shaming on Facebook. Not here.

I have the 7mm-08 and compiled the following awhile ago. It's posted here on site somewhere:
I bought the Lee Classic Powder Measure (LCPM) and like using it. I get consistent, accurate weights...

I haven't done anything related to casting for the past month. When my wife retires next year we are down-sizing. So, I am slowly getting our current house ready for sale. This past month I hung...

My wife and I once had dinner with two friends who served an elk pot roast. It was the best pot roast I have ever eaten.

I use Lee products exclusively and have no complaints. It yields bullets that are probably more accurate than I can shoot. I use the Lee sizer and then apply 2 coats of BLL (Bill's Liquid Lube). I...
I've had the Lyman 525 gr. Sabot mould for about two years. I have some old targets that look like yours. With the various options of powders, hulls, wads, etc. it takes some experimentation to find...

A "Well duh" rule I always practice: Check and double check your work throughout the entire process, from examining the fired brass to pressing the bullet into the cleaned, resized, primed and...

Thank you all for the posts. While my post was primarily about the need for "casting time" and learning the art of bullet making - these are great biscuits. I made a batch for supper. Light, fluffy,...

I was looking for a better recipe that would make my baking powder biscuits lighter and higher. I came across a recipe from a woman who tried and succeeded in replicating the biscuits her husband ate...

Right now I have a bunch of 338 Federal cases in the tumbler, getting cleaned up. Earlier today, not in the reloading room I moved 5 gallons of hard apple cider to the secondary carboy. Tomorrow I...

I went to the range today for the first time in awhile with my Savage Model 11 in 338 Federal. I was trying various powders to help me narrow down the candidates for further load development. Here...

I have read from time to time about the use of 50/50 alloy for hunting. With the right lube and powder good accuracy, velocity and terminal ballistics for whitetail deer are reported. But I haven't...

I INVITE YOU TO ADD YOUR PERSONAL UNIVERSAL, IMMUTABLE LAW OF BULLET CASTING AND RELOAD:
Here is mine. It is generally true in my life. If I misplace something in my casting/reloading area and...

Not a new tip, but an important one: Check and double check throughout the casting process. Yesterday, for example, my electronic scale began giving me readings that were all over the place during...

I cleaned the cats litter box and put some tools away.;) And I spent two + hours cleaning the garage. But that was apart from working in my shop/reloading/casting room.
