So I load on a Lee 4 hole turrets press. Every primer is seated by hand for me too. On my last 50 I loaded with extreme attention to seat depth. To seat the primers I grabbed the back of the press...

Sure enough. I measured against what I have on hand. Some Remington SRPs.

TulAmmo: 2.85mm or 7/64"
Remington SRP: 3.1mm or 1/8"

Looks like my TulAmmo is shorter than SAAMI's spec...

I put a straight edge on every one. None proud. All could see daylight between the primer and the straight edge.

Firing pin indentation on the duds looked solid. Not indicative of a light primer...

This is all very good information. And it definitely is helping. I loaded 50 more with all the same components as before. This time 47 went bang. Much better percentage than what I was getting...

That is very reassuring. And my father gave me a big ammo can recently. Great excuse to get it out of the wife's mudroom and use it for primer storage down in the shop! :-D Free up some fridge space...

Good to know. Everything is in factory containers. The only things in ziplock bags are the primers in their factory boxes (with desiccant in there along with them). Sounds like I'm okay and don't...

It gets real hot and humid here in the Summer. My shop is not climate controlled.

That's good to know as I intend to PC mine too. That Lee 105 grain SWC might do the trick.
