The CX4 is a fun companion piece to the 92FS and fun to shoot as well (although IMHO it is an acquired taste due to the trigger and cheek-slap).
I have not considered the .300BLK simply because I...

I wet tumble in stainless pins to take the polymer or lacquer coating, I don't give them a fresh-water bath after tumbling (I just take them directly out of the soapy/dirty water), then blow them...

You need to add reloading steel cases to your list.

Does your RIA have a bushing and a 4.25" barrel? I'd heard that sometime last year or this year their midsize models switched from bull barrel to the "traditional" commander design, and wondered if...

I was lucky enough to pick up a case of CMP surplus 22LR beore the madness, but as a military guy I have a lot of squadronmates who have not been able to get very much of anything. I have sold,...

Was that range scrap or wheel weights?

I have seen discolorations like that, as others have said, with a single steel case or even a nickel case in the mix.
Docs have been asking the 'firearms in the house' question for 20 years.
Stainless tumbling polishes the cases quite well. I don't do anything additional to them, outside of using a compressor to blow the water off them following the tumble.
My "super cheapskate" load: Tula/Wolf steel case with 230g cast RN.

I also have no issues reloading steel in 45 and 223. Last year a thread or two from this forum inspired me to try it and it has worked well for me.
All of the Tula and some Wolf cases are boxer...

Windex is not needed to flush the salts: water is. Hence the hot, soapy water.

Come on, folks: this idea that "he has nothing to...

I don't understand the dislike of Varget in .223: a nice mid-level charge (25 or 26 grains) is just enough to fill the case up to the neck. It is easy to look in and see if you have a charge or not....

How does the cost of powder coating (both equipment setup and cost of the raw materials to coat) compare to lubrisizing or tumble lube?

California is a self-reinforcing echo chamber of leftist ideas. Good article on this just published this week:

8,000 cabin altitude is the standard in commercial ops.
In the F-15E, the pressurization schedule depends on altitude: the schedule holds ambient pressure until 8,000', then 8000' until the low...

Ah, gotcha. Thanks.
That was Recluse's call to ban me, apparently. Thanks to the mods for not rushing to such quick judgment.

Pressurized aircraft have altimeters that read the pressure altitude outside the aircraft (and display it in terms of altitude) and cabin altimeters that show the pressure inside (and either display...
