Yep, it's getting to be cool enough to cast. I generally cast enough boolets in winter to get me through the rest of the year.

I have a 550 and plan to stick with it.

Nice looking rifles and the good thing you can down load them for practice and crank them up for hunting.

21.72 = not much higher than my local WM had them for before this last rue ha-ha . I seen some of the same 550 boxes at 47.00 in a local gun shop, to me that's to much price gouging.

I would like to see .22 ammo get back to what it was, but it be a long time.
I have a few ,so I mix in a few with my reloads tell times get better.

Best squirrel round I have ever used.
I have two rifles a Ruger 77/22 converted over to 17Hm2 with a Green Mountain barrel and a rifle barrel for my contender rifle and a 10" MGM contender pistol...

I sure am glad I'm not limited to just one, but if'n I had to choose one it'd be the 45-70.

I enjoy shooting my 45/70's, Encore rifle and Contender pistol,I just don't load'em up with 'bone crushing' loads for fun shooting.
