I have an AA but I don't currently have it set up as my bench space is limited. I like the press a lot but chose to mount my 550b and a Bonanza co-ax. When I get my new shop built it will be set up...

I like to shoot but I also like reloading and casting. I have pellet guns as well as 22lrs and center fire from 22H to 416 Rem. I don't shoot a lot anymore so I have enough components to shoot as...

If you're going to shoot it much, I'd go with a six cav.

Looks like a good use for a trash can pickup. Nice job.

It's my go-to boolit for my 1911 and my xds.

I just learned a couple of things from Gears long and very good post. Thanks Gear. I have been casting for about 55 years and have learned a lot by doing everything wrong until I stumble onto...

I think a 4" longer barrel will increase range by 4". It is 4" closer to your target.

With that large of cylinder in the front , it sounds like you will need a heeled bullet. Depending on the length of the cylinder, you may get away with using 32 S&W long or 32 mag cases trimmed to...

I have an old swag-o-matic and made a set of dies for my 7.62 x 25 using 50 cal primer cups as a half jacket and a Lyman 258420 as a core. They come out as an 85gr swc. They work well in my tok and a...

One glove on left hand to cut and open sprue. I don't beat on my molds. I open the sprue with the mold upside down in my left glove and dump the sprue in the glove and then return the sprue to the...

When reloading, I focus on reloading and nothing else. I'm good with silence.

What size are the boolits after sizing with the .331 die using your alloy?
Forum: Reloading Equipment
Just push your boolits through your die to see what size you're getting. It's the only way you will know for sure what size your die should be. I'm not sure there is any standard.

I think the simple solution would be to sell the 38 snubby and get a 2" 357 and shoot +p+ rounds through both of your 357s.

I have only tried two, A Remington and a Norelco. Both pulled some of the hairs out instead of cutting them. I have been using Bic or Gillette disposable since and much prefer the Gillette.
Tight group or 231/hp. Both meter very well. I don't load a lot of 9mm as I prefer the 45acp also with 231/hp 38.

The local Walmart has 28 ga on the shelf. No 410 at all. and no 16ga.

I got a breach seater like that one in a box of stuff at an auction recently. Looks like it's for a 25/20 SS but I'm not sure. I don't have a 25/20 SS so it will make a neat wall hanger.

That's why I'm loading mine in brass cases. With my present components, it costs me about $3.05 for 25 1/2 oz loads. When I have to buy more shot, it will go up to about $$3.85 per box. For 3/4oz...

Yep. I have a bunch of H5010 that I use in several large cases and cast boolits boosted with a fast powder.

I bought a half pound bottle several years back to see what the fuss was about. I was underwhelmed. I still have 6 or 7 oz. left. Maybe I'll try it in an old top break 38 S&W. It's too expensive to...

Yeah, I collect and reload heavily tarnished brass but I clean it first.

I'm sure there are better pellets than the Crosman HP, in fact the RN premium shoot better for me. However I can shoot my 22lr cheaper than those high priced pellets. I have a Savage 1919...

Unless training someone, I reload alone. The only possible interruption is my wife. If she interrupts, I finish whatever cycle I'm on before leaving the bench. Distractions at the loading bench mean...
