12g 4227 under 150--170 lead. 1 inch groups at 100 yds out of a savage bolt iron sites.

I have used the 5# with walnut shell and bed bath and beyond brass polish for over 5 years. bought it for 29$. works great holds alot of rifle and or handgun brass. good machine. Bill

I sent some time sorting and melt today. The ingots are not shiny bbut dull and grainy. the last batch of 9 mm casts were the smae way, not shiney:( any help? thanks Bill

is any clean wood sawdust ok to use? white wood, pine, walnut, oak. Anything that has no glue or resin? I've been using parifin candle wax.

found 5 ingots. believe they are soft lead. I have used coww up to now for casting. what to add to lead to cast bullets? 45/9/30-06 this will be good for round ball, 45/50 MLs

lead still to warm to be handled. my 1lb ingots did the same. let em cool more

I use the same chrony. The range in numbers might be caused by loading methods. Different cases, difference in bullet seating and crimp. Variance in powder measure, a tenth of a grain will change...

Is there a differance in the lead in stick on and clip ons? Which is best for round ball/rifle 30 cal.?
