I am wanting to buy online and shoot a commercial coated lead bullet out of a 30-30 rifle at published listed maximum loadings and not get lead smears all in the bore of my Marlin rifle.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Is there any coated 30-30 bullets on the market that will stand up to max loadings?
Thanks.
Accurate 4100/Ramshot Enforcer is as good as any of them and can be downloaded but it has no flash and fire like a like in 2400 and H110.

Lee mold 310 grainers with 12.5 gr. of 2400 pretty much all go in the same hole at 25 yards from the bench. Light and enjoyable load.

Has anyone tried CFE BLK powder in 444 Marlin caliber? I’m new to both and I haven’t seen any 4198 which is supposed to be the cat’s meow for the 444. I bought a pound of CFE BLK because it is...
I think we should worry more about how to get any primers of any brand.

I have a 13" MGM 357 Max barrel on my Contender handgun. Great shooter at 100yds.
I've crushed necks of brass trying to cut the sticks of 4198 powder with my powder dispenser.

I have no use for a case feeder or bullet feeder; I have to load the case feeder and bullet feeder by hand first, don't I? So what's the advantage? My LNL press has always ran like a Singer sewing...
Did they name the cartridge after Waylon Jennings?
Lee has a 440gr gas check bullet mold, #90991. Very nice performing bullet.
Would like to see a pic of the muzzle break and where did you find one? I took the butt plate off and filled the stock cavity with lead shot and put a soft rubber slip on recoil pad over the butt....
Been shooting the 500 in the Handi-Rifle for a several years now. Cast gas check bullets are all I ever shoot. I do not cast my own however I buy commercial bullets and the cheapest ones I can find....

I've had my 13" MGM Contender barrel about a year now it has 1:14 twist as that's what MGM recommended. I figured they knew more than I did. Getting one more inch in length would have cost me $50...

AA4100 (same as Ramshot Enforcer) is my favorite powder for magnum handguns and it can be downloaded a lot. I've even seen 45acp data for it.

Anyone tried any Winchester AA Super Handicap powder in handguns? In these days of powder unavailability it doesn't hurt to ask. I can get it cheap.
Especially if I was shooting them out of a Marlin, I would adjust nothing.
Accurate 4100 and Ramshot Enforcer (same powder) is the best magnum handgun powder I've ever used. So versatile there is even published loads for 45acp for it. Very low flash and magnum primers are...
Been using Am. Select for years for 9mm cast loads. It and Green Dot are my go to powders for the caliber.
Yes. 4.0gr is what I shoot for 125gr cast. Very accurate.

Green Dot is a wonderful handgun powder and the absolute cat's meow for 9mm cast bullet loads.

JB-Weld has made Mary Bonham in Sulphur Springs, TX very wealthy. God bless free market capitalism.
I use Accurate 4100 in my 500. Very powerful, accurate, way less muzzle flash and can be dowloaded considerably in the 500. And no magnum primer needed.
