Lyman/Ideal 41028 works well in my 1894. Mine is a single cavity so it takes a while to cast a bunch but they sure are consistent and they feed smooth.

Try neck sizing only with an 8x57 die. That trick worked for me when I was experimenting with some .316 soft lead boolits.

The RCBS cast bullet book lists a load with RCBS 98 gr. SWC with 10 gr. of 2400. Sized to .313 this load works wonderful in my Marlin CL. You might have better luck by speeding things up a bit??
